Italian Vessels Unveils 38.2m Yacht Cheyenne

Italian Vessels has proudly delivered its latest creation, the 38.2-meter yacht named Cheyenne, marking a significant milestone for the family-run shipyard. As the inaugural vessel from their new Classic A 37 series, Cheyenne showcases the yard’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Designed to fulfill the Monaco-based owner’s dual-purpose vision, the yacht is tailored for both private cruising and functioning as a representative office.

The Cheyenne was officially launched in October 2024, setting a new benchmark for Italian Vessels. With a length of 38.2 meters and a beam of 9.6 meters, the yacht offers an internal volume of 431 GT. The shipyard, led by Marco Parigi alongside his brother Eugenio and their father Captain Mario, has ensured that Cheyenne stands as a testament to their expertise in yacht building.

Cheyenne: A Blend of Elegance and Expedition

Cheyenne’s design harmoniously marries elegance with the robust features typical of expedition vessels. The yacht’s black, glossy hull exudes sophistication, while the snow-white superstructures incorporate elements of a classic retro style. Notably, the radar mast is designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, adding to the vessel’s distinctive appearance.

Engineered for autonomous cruising, Cheyenne is equipped with features suitable for ice class certification, enabling safe navigation in polar regions. The yacht can achieve a top speed of 15 knots and maintains a cruising speed of 10 knots. Its substantial fuel capacity of 67,000 liters allows for an impressive range of 3,500 nautical miles, making it well-suited for extended voyages.

Sustainable Design Meets Luxury in Cheyenne

Cheyenne’s design also emphasizes environmental responsibility, adhering to EPA regulations aimed at minimizing diesel engine emissions. The propulsion system is compliant with IMO III standards and incorporates a Selective Catalytic Reduction system to further reduce environmental impact. This focus on sustainability complements the vessel’s advanced engineering and design.

The interior, crafted by Rome-based architect Francesca Cianficconi, is designed to be light, airy, and suitable for year-round use. Originally planned to include five cabins, the layout was modified to accommodate a gym, reflecting the owner’s personal preferences. Italian Vessels has confirmed that a 40-meter yacht in the Classica series is already under construction, continuing their dedication to innovation and excellence in yacht building.

Cheyenne represents a significant achievement for Italian Vessels, blending refined design with practical functionality. The yacht’s launch not only marks the debut of the Classic A 37 series but also sets a new standard for future projects from the shipyard. As Italian Vessels continues to expand its offerings, the Cheyenne stands as a testament to their commitment to quality and innovation.
