Grand Banks 62 to Unveil at 2025 PBIBS | March 19th-23rd

The eagerly awaited Grand Banks 62 is ready to make its worldwide premiere at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show, scheduled for March 19-23. This latest craft in the Grand Banks series upholds the brand’s tradition of innovation, fusing speed, efficiency, and opulent comfort.

Exemplary Engineering and Performance

Featuring the latest in technology, the Grand Banks 62 provides outstanding performance. It reaches a top speed of 30 knots and sustains a cruising speed of 27 knots. For longer journeys, the yacht boasts a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots with a 10-percent fuel margin.

The vessel maintains a steady running angle throughout its speed spectrum, facilitating smooth navigation and increased safety. The capacity to modify speed and trim in response to sea conditions ensures exceptional comfort for extensive cruises.

Power and Efficiency

Equipped with dual Volvo D13 engines, each yielding 900 horsepower, the Grand Banks 62 is complemented by Twin Disc MGX 5096A marine transmissions. Alternative options include enhanced Volvo D13s with outputs of 1,000 horsepower or Volvo IPS 1200S engines rated at 900 horsepower.

This yacht is crafted using V-Warp® Technology, featuring a hull design that reduces drag and enhances overall efficiency. This innovation leads to fuel consumption reductions of up to 70 percent compared to standard designs, positioning it among the most fuel-efficient yachts within its category.

Luxury and Comfort

The Grand Banks 62 showcases a generous and elegant interior. The increased length in comparison to the Grand Banks 60 allows for a larger starboard guest stateroom equipped with a double and a single bed, along with a private en suite head. A utility space with a washer/dryer enhances convenience.

The master stateroom, located amidships, offers a king-size bed, an en suite head with a spacious shower, and plenty of storage for prolonged voyages. The forward VIP stateroom features a queen bed and a private head.

On the main deck, oversized windows invite plentiful natural light and air flow. The helm station ensures excellent visibility for navigating under various conditions. The yacht is available in both Flybridge and Skylounge layouts, allowing for customization to meet individual tastes.
