Cantiere del Pardo to Introduce New Models at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival
Cantiere del Pardo is scheduled to unveil three new models at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, happening from September 12-17. The new additions — the Pardo GT75, Grand Soleil 52 Performance, and Grand Soleil 65 Performance — highlight the shipyard’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Marking its 50th anniversary and its recent incorporation into the Oniverse Group, the company remains a leader in both the sail and motorboat sectors.
Pardo GT75
The Pardo GT75, the newest member of the GT lineup, will be introduced at the Cannes Yachting Festival. This almost 23-meter flagship model merges the luxury and roominess of the GT series with the high-performance features of a 75-foot vessel.
Positioned between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges, the GT75 features spacious living and accommodation areas, extensive sundecks, and lounges located on both the aft and foredecks, delivering an experience similar to that of a seaside villa.
Grand Soleil 52 Performance
The Grand Soleil 52 Performance takes its inspiration from the classic Grand Soleil 52, created by German Frers back in 1987. The latest model, with naval architecture by Matteo Polli and design for the exteriors, interiors, and layout by Nauta Design, aspires to embody the elegance and high performance of the original.
The initial Grand Soleil 52 was hailed as “a timeless masterpiece,” and the new 52 Performance aims to continue this heritage with contemporary design and improved stability.
Grand Soleil 65 Performance
The Grand Soleil 65 Performance is the newest model added to Grand Soleil Yachts’ lineup of yachts over 60 feet, building on the success of the GS 65 Long Cruise version. This latest addition embodies a blend of high performance, elegant design, and cutting-edge features.
In partnership with Matteo Polli (naval architecture) and Nauta Design (exteriors, interiors, and layout), the 65 Performance focuses on sustainability and energy efficiency. Franco Corazza, an entrepreneur and experienced racer with numerous Italian, European, and world titles, spearheaded the development of this model.
Cantiere del Pardo, established in Italy in 1973, introduced its powerboat brand, Pardo Yachts, in 2016. The inaugural model, the Pardo 43, made its debut in 2017. Grand Soleil, also founded in 1973, is well-known for its performance-oriented yachts designed for regattas, long-distance sailing autonomy, and strong sustainability principles.
